This is the best washer and dryer I've ever owned. The clothes come out cleaner than the laundry mat. We are so happy with our purchase, we bought the stackable combo in volcano black. The dryer works flawlessly, most loads are dry in thirty minutes or less.

The washer has been easy to use and looks great. In addition to washing clothes, we wash our bed quilt often, and it handles large, bulky loads really well. We built a new home for "aging in place" so we also installed the washer on a pedestal for easier access to the drum. Terrific!

This Maytag washer has caused us many calls to Maytag in its 3 months of use. It is violently loud and moves around the laundry room when in the last spin cycle. It sounds like a jackhammer and it might crash through the floor. The customer service takes 40 mins to 2 hours on hold to reach each time we call for service. They send the same repair person out each time and he replaces one part at a time. So far these fixes have not worked and we call Maytag again. We have older circa 2017 Maytag washer in our primary home and it has been wonderful, but this new unit is simply not good. Their customer service reps state each time we call "your warranty covers only parts and repair, not replacement." This experience is super frustrating. Customer Service feels truly not interested, reads robotically from scripts, and pretty sure they laughed at our predicament last time we called. The next repair attempt is next week. We shall see.

Delivered 3 weeks ago. Waited 4 weeks longer than original delivery date. Loud knocking noise coming from machine during washing cycle. Technician came for inspect and said there is an issue with the tub. Would have to take the entire machine apart to diagnose and repair. He said it would cost more to repair than replace.

The costumer service is awful with the automated machine that ask a lot of nonsense questions and take me to nowhere, the chat in the website doesn™™t work obviously and there™™s no way to communicate by email, seriously Maytag- whirlpool corporation? The issue is since the beginning, I bought this washer and dryer with a 20% discount, I asked why and they said it was because they were the ones in display. They looked good at the store and I just bought them without checking the reviews first, I went to the cashier to pay for them and left, when my husband and I came back to pick them they were already by the door, we load them in the truck and came home but when I inspected it at home I noticed the washer didn™™t bring the correspondent documentation, not the usually stickers or tags they should have, didn™™t come with the bottom screws to help to level the unit. I didn™™t say anything to the store because that wasn™™t really important to me - But I should said that the washer looked used since it was some water spots that a new unit shouldn™™t have. My mistake for not doing it, I just trust the store and I thought it may be some mist from the day™¦ I had to do some repairs and new connections in the place where they will be placed and it took some days to do it, so finally when we almost finish it we decided to try them I bought new anti vibration pads to compensate for the lack of the leg screws, unfortunately the washer has been a nightmare. The quick wash doesn™™t spin and let the clothes soaking wet, I have to use the drain and spin cycle in the maximum speed and sometimes it works sometimes don™™t, and when it does the noise and spin are out of control, it doesn™™t walk, it literally RUNS from the place, sounds like a motorcycle in my basement and the whole house vibrates as crazy. Same happens with the normal cycle the spins is so loud and the machine moves and shakes out of control, and it takes almost two hours, TWO HOURS! to do a complete wash, insane! Besides the fact that I have to use the extra power control because if I don™™t use it won™™t do a ™normal™™ spin and the clothes will be soaking wet. The towels and bulky cycle just don™™t work as it should, thing is it looks like is washing normally but it won™™t spin as a normal one and when I take them out they are so wet but the the middle part are dry! The washer can™™t even handle bull items even if I™™m there checking for them yo even inside of the drum, yes I have to babysit the machine to make it do the job.Last timeI used them have to set the drain and spin cycle, hoping for it to do the spin, and most of the time it just doesn™™t do it, and have to hung or going to the laundromat to finish the wet blanket or towels.. because the dryer also or takes almost two hours to dry or it does stop and doesn™™t dry completely. No I™™m not new with this kind of machines I know how they work and what the different cycles do. At this point I just feel I™™m wasting a lot of time with this, besides the energy and the money I™™m spending having to go to the laundromat to wash to avoid all this drama and stress with these probably used and defective appliances. No, I don™™t want a technician to come and repair something that I paid for it as new and it just has a couple months with me and I used just 3-4 times. I went to the store, but the return window at Lowe™™s is just ridiculous 48 hours and I didn™™t try them before the 48 hours, worse buy of my life, this is an investment and the companies that make and sell the products should be have a better and faster respond to our requests since this are not cheap appliances. I will contact consumer protection and some news channel to make a formal compliant. All this situation is just ridiculous. NO I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT OR COMPANY

Guess I was just use to the previous Whirlpool front load washer but this unit doesn't seem to wring out clothes/towels as well. Sometimes they are completely wet as if it never spun out at all. We reset to spin/drain and then it will usually remove the water. Sometimes you have to remove about half the load to get it to come up to full speed. Other than that the washer does a great job of getting the clothes clean, just a little inconsistent with final spin. Since this issue is not consistent or able to recreate on demand, its hard to justify a service call.

Washing works when it isn't clogged. It has to be taken apart and cleared drain hose every few weeks. And it can't handle a full load, ca nonly handle medium loads without an error code. MUCH worse than the cheaper Samsung we left behind when we moved.

I really like this front load washer with the Extra Power and 12-Hr Fresh Spin™ option. It works great ™" clothes come out clean, fresh, and it handles large loads with no problem. The Extra Power feature is especially nice for tough stains, and the Fresh Spin option helps keep laundry from getting that damp smell if I can™™t switch it to the dryer right away. My only complaint is that sometimes the control panel freezes up, and I have to do a quick power cycle to get it working again. It™™s a minor inconvenience, but still worth noting. Overall, I™™m very happy with the performance so far and just hope it holds up well for at least 10 years.

This washer has constant issues since it was purchased and installed in October of 2024, and is less than a year old. Frequent error messages of slow drainage, excess soap foaming (we use very little), and sensor errors. We've had 4 maintenance repairs in under a year of ownership. Additionally, the drain pump and filter are difficult to access and require a maintenance request - cannot be done on our own. Do not recommend this product.

Do not buy a Washer without easy drain filter access! I've had it 6 months and it stopped working full of water and clothes with an error code for draining. The door is locked, clothes trapped inside for weeks as I wait for a technician to be available in July/August. Washers usually have easy front access door to the drain filter, but not this one. It's insane! Its stackable, so it's under the dryer in an alcove and I have to pull out the whole stack (washer w/dryer on top), now with the washer full of water (way heavier), then take the back off, remove screws, slide the top back, remove front screws, disassemble the front (unhooking electric panel)... hours of grueling labor, to access the filter that is right against the front of the unit inside and could easily have a little door there (like they all used to), which would be one minute and no labor, just rinsing it out... What were they thinking not having that little door access there? Once it's no longer under warranty I'll be paying $200 plus to get this fixed when that error code locks my machine full of water and clothes again! Not worth it!!

Low Flow Error issue

Washer threw a low Flo error code within first 3 wash cycles. Have had ASI out to diagnose/ apparently a know issue- need a cold water valve and board. Have been a Maytag owner for more than 30 years. The machine looks great- but disappointing that it was broken upon arrival. And the worst part is how long it took to set up repair appointment and now wait for parts. 3 weeks without a washer. Not fun.

This model does not have a filter that is accessible to the owner. It never occurred to me that a machine would be designed in such away. One has to have an appliance tech come out to clean the filter, and if the household has pets, it'll happen more than once a year. Who made the decision to prevent the homeowner from doing the most basic of maintenance steps? My pets have short hair. I can't imagine what this is costing those with longer hair.

It seems to provide a very good level of clean, but the appliance seems to be less st ur rdy as prior top load washers. In 7 months, we™™ve already had an issue with the control board and drain pump (this got caught/ stuck). I haven™™t had issues with my whirlpool top load washer, or even my prior LG. We will need to see if this can make it long term, as my prior models never had an issue until 13 or 14 years later, and then it™™s time to replace.

If you have hair, don't buy. There is no filter trap you can clean. The warranty won't cover taking it apart unless it's not draining at all. You'll have to pay someone to take clogs out by taking it apart or do so yourself

Fabric softener dispenser quit working

The fabric softener dispenser quit working 2 months after the warranty was up. Cleaned everything out, ran a snake all through it, and nothing. Fills with water and overflows. Have to use tide pods with Downey and fabric softener sheets. Keep getting suds code also even just using tide pods.

I've had problems with this washing machine since I bought it a year and a half ago. never fully draining and finally once my warranty was up it completely crashed out on me. I've had someone come "repair it" 5 times and itll work for one or two washes and then flood my guest room and lock my wet clothes for days until i get another "repair" i really didnt want to spend another thousand dollars on a new washing machine when this one is less than two years old but here i am. DO NOT BUY THIS WASHING MACHINE

Warranty service is incompetent and a joke. Communication between the warranty department and the service provider are ineffective. My washer broken last October. Service man ordered two parts. I received one at home and was told the other was backorder. I called to find out what was going on today and the ticket had been closed. Then I found out the same part I received had also been sent to the repair company and now they are coming out next week to try to fix it with two of the same part. Also, Goodman Home Solutions will not answer phone calls, as I tried to return calls multiple times throughout this debacle. I have been trying to get this fixed for over four months and had to purchase another washer to get by. I will never deal with a Maytag appliance again.

This purchase replaces a failed LG washer that as supposed to be top of the line. Nothing that has a less than 5 year life could ever be top of the line. The Maytag is a smaller footprint and has cleaning features and benefits that seem well advanced over what we had before. In addition the machine is much quieter than the old one and seems much more capable of auto adjusting to an unbalanced load. GO WHIRLPOOL / MAYTAG!!

So far I've found that the spin cycle is horrible and I had to call with my extended warranty to have someone come look at it And they are taking two weeks to get here. I have run the drink and spin 5 times in one load of withb9 bath towels to finally get it to be dry enough to put in the dryer. Not the Maytag I'm used to, so disappointing

It does what it should most of the time but multiple times it gets stuck on spinning, hours just spinning and have to go manually turn it off to make it stop. Cleaning the filter is another issue and takes an hour+ thanks yo the very poor design. In hind sight I wish we never purchased the washer
